About FoodWorks
FoodWorks is a supermarket chain of over 400 independently owned stores in Australia. The brand belongs to the Australian United Retailers Limited (AURL) as a result of a 2004 merger.
FoodWorks offer an independent supermarket alternative to the major chains with each store tailoring to their community’s needs. You can find great deals on a variety of products. They include fresh produce, meat, bakery, dairy, cereal, frozen food, snacks, drinks, pet food, personal care products, cleaning supplies and more. Some stores come with their own bottle shops.
There are three retail formats:
FoodWorks is known for their customer service, community involvement, quality products, value and individual store offering (such as organic produce). While the AURL provide its member stores with collective purchasing power, business and marketing support, each store is independently owned and operated.
