Delivery in Australia Letters and documents – standard services There are two delivery timetables available for letters within Australia: Regular and Priority. For more information regarding delivery timetables, ask at your local Post Office or visit auspost.com.au/ delivery-times. Small letters* Small letters include enveloped mail, lettersheets and unenclosed postcards. A small letter is: • no larger than 130mm x 240mm • no thicker than 5mm • no heavier than 250g. To avoid small letters being trapped in machinery or other letters, small letters should exceed 88mm x 138mm. Sealing of envelope mail is preferred. However if posted unsealed, the opening should not exceed 88mm. Condition Regular Timetable* Charge per letter $ For delivery within Australia, postage paid by affixing a stamp 1.20 Seasonal greeting card enclosed in a sealed envelope and endorsed card only – only available during November and December 0.65 Large letters* A large letter is: • rectangular in shape • no heavier than 500g • no thicker than 20mm • no larger than 260mm x 360mm • not a small letter Regular Timetable* Condition Up to 125g $ Over 125g to 250g $ Over 250g to 500g $ For delivery within Australia, postage paid by affixing a stamp 2.40 3.60 6.00 Seasonal greeting card enclosed in a sealed envelope and endorsed card only – only available during November and December 1.30 - - *Priority timetable Prices above and on the opposite page are for the Regular timetable. To send as Priority, affix one Priority label next to the postage stamp, concession stamp/s or postage paid image.
