1 To hang a rug on a plasterboard wall, use
a handsaw to cut a length of 25mm dowel
to match the length of the rug. Using a tape
measure with a level, mask out where the
rug will hang on the wall. Use a stud finder
to locate any wall studs along the top,
marking with a pencil.

the holes 50mm down from the top. Install
supplied anchors or pre-drill into wall studs
and secure with supplied screws, checking
the channel part of the rail is at the top.
4 To attach the rug, working from the back,
run a length of 12mm double-sided tape
along the top, then secure it along the
dowel, with the edge of the rug running
along the side of the rails with the holes.
Staple along the edge of the rug into the
dowel with 10mm staples.
5 Lift the assembly into position against the
wall, with the hanging rails interlocked over
the wall hanging rails. Check the rug hangs
straight and push the bed into position.
Tip: To hang the rug on a brick wall, use
masonry anchors and screws to attach wall
hanging rails, avoiding the mortar joints.
Find out the weight of your rug to ensure the fixings are suitable for
the load and your type of wallI. Never place a rug over or near a heat
source, nor above babies', toddlers' or children's beds. Regularly check
the rug isn't pulling away from the dowel and at risk of falling down.
